Went for lunch with sister in law, loved the decor. Food was delicious filling and good prices. I had avocado poached egg on sourdough toast two slices, Maria had salad which was homemade and too much for her.
Divine! It was busy at Saturday lunchtime but we found a table-the decor and fittings are lovely and the atmosphere and ambience the same. Ordered the mushrooms & spinach on sourdough, croque monsieur and the winter sandwich of turkey, brie and cranberry and all come to you now highly recommended but I can especially recommend the croque monsieur which really was chefs kiss! All drinks beautifully served and while we had juices and teas the coffee and cake selection looked excellent. Looking forward to returning-highly recommend!

We've been coming here for breakfast for a while now, and everything I've tried has been absolutely delicious. They have a lovely variety of food, really friendly atmosphere, and the prices are brilliant for the portion sizes - I always leave absolutely stuffed! Most times my husband has to finish my food because there's so much. I had the parisian hot chocolate today which is a new addition to the menu and it was honestly the best hot chocolate I've ever had, which is saying something as I've been chasing amazing hot chocolates for years would absolutely recommend to anybody wanting a delicious, filling breakfast with a yummy hot drink
This is our favourite cafe in Newport. Whenever we visit the area from Australia, we are here every day for the morning caffeine hit. Place has a good vibe: relaxed, good coffee, good decor, very friendly staff. Located between the High Street and the quaint/old cobbles of May Street. Support local small businesses and do yourself a favour and skip the big coffee shop chains. See you again in October. Coffee order won't have changed!
This is a great place for lunch and cake. Coffee not brilliant but okay. Staff are really great and efficient. Chorizo Hash is amazing!
